Sabrina Elbin, PlagScan’s new Sales Manager for the DACH Market

We started this year with an outstanding new powerpreneur, Sabrina Elbin, who is spreading her wings to consolidate the German, Austrian and Swiss markets. We are very happy that we could win Sabrina for this great task.

Sabrina, fascinated with emerging technologies, was instantly drawn to our job description. She is particularly interested in the agile mindset and entrepreneurial mentality of PlagScan as well as our long term mission to foster creative thinking and academic integrity.

“On one hand, technology and creating value are well represented by Apple, Alphabet, IBM or many other TOP 10 Companies, listed as the largest Tech Companies in 2018. But honestly, the current generation is so used to their products, that the far-reaching value behind it is forgotten easily.

Digital technology is a game changer now and will be in the future.

On the other hand, today’s world should be a place where human rights are essential, including equality, fairness, free speech, integrity, education and sustainability, among many other aspects.”

Sabrina is a German native who is always willing to go out of her comfort zone and her career background proves it. After working for five years in exporting at a multinational conglomerate, Sabrina decided to study International Business Management in English and went to Madrid to complete her International Master degree. There she worked in the start-up scene for a company which co-founded others start-ups with corporations. “Complex interrelations have always drawn my attention and I wanted to keep working in a fast moving and demanding technology industry.” she says. Finally, she completed her studies with an International MBA specialized in Design Thinking in 2018.

Always on the move, Sabrina is passionate about discovering new countries and perspectives, which has led her to travel across South America and to pick up sports like Kiteboarding in Brazil and hiking in Patagonia.

In her own words, Sabrina’s new residency at PlagScan gives her:

“a great a opportunity to combine my two passions, strategic thinking for business development, as well as my personal holistic approach to life to provide equal opportunities in the world by sharing knowledge, getting access to information and improving education.”
