PlagScan expands its team with a Marketing Campaign & Community Manager

PlagScan is happy to welcome Michael Beck as our new Marketing Campaign & Community Manager to its team. He will be responsible for PlagScan’s community, communication channels and will support the marketing team with his expertise. Michael has an impressive background in the development and fostering of online communities; websites focused on user generated content surrounding entertainment topics like video games, movies and tv series.

Michael is about to make a friendship with a sequoia.

In his spare time Michael prefers to play story rich video games, improve on his guitar and trumpet skills, expand his music collection and read up on history and language topics.

He likes the company’s flat hierarchy, its welcoming culture and the pursuit to draw from the whole team’s experience and creativity at its fullest as well as the idea of improving academic integrity. He believes in educating people on the topic of plagiarism and copyright. When asked what his goals are within the company he replied: “At PlagScan I want to combine my former aspiration to become a teacher with my know-how concerning online communities and their needs, while bringing the company, its product, its user and customer experience to the next level.”
