We think our interactive reports are great at providing an adaptive overview of potential plagiarism detected in texts.
Still we recognize the need to export the results to a static format, for reasons like archiving or documentation.
In the printed version or as PDF export dynamic, interactive elements are obviously obstructive to say the least.
So the PlagScan developer team came up with a special plagiarism report view for static formats.
The print view consists of a front page with PlagLevel, PlagBar, the list of potential plagiarism sources, and the settings used for the check.
This cover sheet is followed by your document, with suspicious passages highlighted in the text, showing the number one source directly next to the corresponding sentence. See below the second sentence for an example: The modern concept of plagiarism…
So that sentence was found in source , https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plagiarism (can be seen in the source list).
The reference is added as superscript slightly over the text in order to not mess with the layout of your document.
Our usability testers found the output easy to understand and liked this report type for its conciseness.
We hope you too will find this export format useful and look forward to your feedback!
