Meet us at Learntec in Karlsruhe Hall 2 H14

2019 begins with our Germany Tour

Our first stop is in Karlsruhe with LEARNTEC

From January 29th until January 31st, we will attend LEARNTEC, a convention and leading German trade fair for Education Technologies. For a quarter of a century, LEARNTEC has been held at the beginning of the year and the event showcases IT-supported learning methods and technologies, as well as best practices in lifelong learning. LEARNTEC provides a forum which imparts this knowledge to companies, schools, and higher education institutions.

PLAGSCAN at LEARNTEC: 3 days, lots of happening on Hall2 H14

The fair will be very busy for us as we have planned several events to uncover why critical thinking and writing ability is essential for ensuring a good education for the next generation.

       1. Guided Tour of the PlagScan World.

On the first day of events, our team will give a tour of PlagScan from 3PM-4PM. You will learn how you can protect the authenticity of your text in a few clicks and how to verify your students have not cheated on their papers.

In fact, PlagScan is more than a basic plagiarism checker: we are chasing ghosts in global education.

PlagScan is currently developing a stylometry tool which will analyze students’ writing to determine deviations in their writing styles. This groundbreaking feature will help to detect content which had been written by someone else. During the whole trade fair, we will provide you with the highlights of this revolutionary feature.

        2. Is it finally possible to reach the Utopia of fair and equal education standards? : Markus Goldbach, CEO speech at LEARNTEC

Our CEO, Markus Goldbach, will talk about how preventing plagiarism contributes to a more equal and fair education standard. Injustices in education have been a persistent issue that PlagScan has been trying to resolve. In many cases, instructors only investigate student papers upon suspicion, which allows many students to get away with stolen content. By automating a plagiarism search on academic institutions, all student papers are equally checked for duplicated content – regardless of the student’s background or previous academic work.

Do not miss him on the 31rst of January, from 14:55-15:15, Trendforum Hall2 Stand K41.
